Tom Cruise... The Christ of Scientology?...
Tom Cruise is being called the new 'Christ' of Scientology by leaders of the religion.
Reports claim that he has been told he is the "chosen one" to spread news about the faith.
Leader David Miscavige also believes that in years to come Tom will be worshipped like Jesus for his efforts to raise the profile of the religion, according to the British publication, The Sun.
A source said to be close to Tom told the paper: "Tom has been told he is Scientology's Christ-like figure.
"Like Christ, he's been criticized for his views. But future generations will realize he was right."

Wow... What the.... Wow... That's nothing if it ain't ballsy. That's definitely one way to end Cruise's career.(not that he hadn't been trying to sabotage it himself...) I'm sure the Catholic Church will now come up in arms, and officially declare heracy on Scientology.

It is. And L. Ron Hubbard bet some guy $100 that he could turn it into a religion. And yet these people follow it blindly.
