Since when have you guys become the judge of proper wrestling image? Luis and PJ can wrestle circles around half of the "best" indy workers in florida, singlet or not.

But will they ever get boked anywhere else? I'm just saying, the look is whats getting them labeled as "Backyarders", not their talent.

I like those guys, they have tons of potential, I just would hate for them never to get anywhere because of their "gear". BTW, let Luis know that a new co-worker of mine knows him. His name is Teddy(not sure of last name).

Actually, we're both wrong, Vinney. It's neither gear, nor your talent. It's who you know and how well you kiss their ass that gets you places in this bizz. Totally corupt. I wanna go to japan.

Unfortunately, I found out that Japan is the same way. I sat down Osama Nashimura at an EWE show, and he said its basically the same way there as it is here. Kissing the ass of two-faced know-it-alls.

Really? (said with a serious look of sarcasm and non-believe). Regaurdless, of whatever, I still want to tour japan, if only for the respect level of in-ring ability the fans show. Look up KENTA vs Marifuji. The indy scene here is way too political, and the workers bitch if you're a little stiff. People, news flash: you're in a bizz where the entertainment we provide is of such a nature that you must make contact with the person you're in the ring with. Im not going to make myself, nor the match look weak by powder-puffing everybody. Too many workers go to a show just socialize and be part of a mutual admiration society, and forget that you work a show to...gasp...work the show! People need to get their head out of their own asses, quit patting themsselves on the back, and pay attention to their in-ring product.

I agree whole-heartedly. Buck Quartermaine just got back from a tour with Muga and HUSTLE. He says the major difference is the fans. They still see it as "real", and they treat wrestlers like gods. The work ethic and ability is 100 times higher there, too. I, too, would love to get a Japan tour someday. Alot of their promotions work like here. Show up, and they'll book you. I found out a couple of wrestlers here do that. I won't name names, but it might be something to look into, when the money to fly out and stay is available.

Good bit of info, Vinny. I appreciate that. It has been my only goal left to acheive in this bizz for the past few years, and Ill definatly look into that.
